Austin area's Teravista offers golf course views
ROUND ROCK, Texas -- At Teravista, the no. 1 selling non age-restricted community in the Austin area, residents can enjoy stunning golf course views even when they're not playing on its award-winning 18-hole course.
One of Teravista's newest golf course neighborhoods is Vista Pointe, offering homesites up to 100 feet wide for semi-custom executive homes priced from the $350,000s to $500,000s. Village Builders and Wilshire Homes offer plans ranging from 3,000 to over 5,000 square feet in this scenic neighborhood, which offers a limited collection of some of the largest homesites ever released in Teravista.
Other Teravista neighborhoods with golf-course views include Sterling Ridge, offering Ryland homes from the $180,000s, and Lexington Park, featuring Centerra homes from the $220,000s. Fairway Heights offers homes from the $240,000s by Ryland and Village Builders.
"Teravista is all about lifestyle and value, and the beautiful Teravista Golf Club is one of our flagship amenities," said Vaike O'Grady, marketing director for the Austin division of Newland Communities.
The winner of numerous accolades from golf publications, the Teravista Golf Club features a 7,200-yard course designed by Floridian George Clifton, whose firm of Clifton, Ezell & Clifton Golf Design has created more than 40 championship courses throughout the United States.
Laid out on gently rolling terrain, the daily-fee course has views that extend more than 30 miles to the west, treating golfers to vistas of hills, trees, wildflowers and native grasses. With five different tee settings, the course is inviting to golfers of every skill level, from beginners to highly skilled players. The constant, gentle breeze adds a unique element to a round of golf at Teravista.
The golf club also features a restaurant, The Caldwell Cafe, and the 150-year-old Ranch House at Teravista, which hosts regular community events and can be reserved for private occasions.
The golf club is one of the reasons why Teravista has won a 2011 MAX Award for "Best Overall Community for a Developer" from the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. It is also why the 1,550-acre community is a leader in Austin's new-home market and ranks among the nation's top 20 communities for new-home sales according to RCLCO.
Teravista welcomes visitors with its unique Discovery Park outdoor information center and its convenient Model Home Village, now home to nine decorated models.
Teravista is located at I-35 North and University Blvd., only minutes from downtown Austin and in the middle of major shopping centers, several colleges and universities, and two major hospitals.
