The warm sunshine works wonders while the ocean breeze gently soothes the souls of those who reside at one of the finest golfing communities around…Grand Haven. Perfectly positioned in Palm Coast, this country club style establishment lies about halfway between Jacksonville and Orlando, Fla. on the Eastern shoreline.

Members and their guests will soon be able to enjoy the new clubhouse, slated to open in June of 2002, says John Afflebach, advertising manager. Lavish facilities will come complete with a pro shop, full-service dining areas, locker rooms and even specific areas for golf cart storage on lower levels. The list of amenities also includes tennis, swimming, bocce, croquet and fitness centers. Recreational activities like biking, playing at the parks, walking through specially created trails and boating on the Intracoastal Waterway eliminate any threats of boredom.

Golfers can improve their swing at the spectacular Jack Nicholson Signature golf course. The 18-hole, par-72 course is complemented beautifully by the natural landscape of marshes and wetlands. "The course flows nicely over 18 holes of picturesque shot settings; and scenic value is provided by oaks pines, magnolias, and the Intracoastal Waterway with No. 18 finishing close to the water," says Jack Nicklaus. "Grand Haven will challenge the skilled player, yet because of some width to the holes, it also will be a fun course that the average player can enjoy."

Homes-sites range from $45,000 to $100,000 plus. Custom homes range from the mid- $100,000 to more than $500,000. Adjacent to the clubhouse, new condominiums are under construction, says Jim Doyle. Those condos will be available in mid to late 2002.
