Nestled in a bird and wildlife sanctuary, Cedar Creek was named the "Best Neighborhood" in Where to Retire magazine.

Golf

The Arthur Hills designed 18-hole championship course received four stars from Golf Digest. The imposing yardage markers, including three 500+ yard par fives from the white tees, are softened a bit by the frequent sloped play, as few holes run uphill. There are plenty of short, challenging holes as well. The stomach-churning 89-yard fifth hole requires a high iron to carry over the creek. And bunkers lurk on the other side of the water. The 1995 Division II National Championship was played on the Cedar Creek course.

The Cedar Creek Golf Club holds a 400-yard driving range with enough space for 20 golfers to shoot for the multiple fairways and target greens. There are practice sand bunkers on each side of the driving range and a small short game area as well.

The busiest time of year is certainly the week of The Masters, as Cedar Creek is just a 30-minute jaunt from Augusta. The club begins taking reservations in November for the April week.

Real Estate

Beautifully wooded one half acre and larger home sites begin in the $80's, and all birck custom built homes are priced from the $300's.

Miscellaneous

Diners can take a seat overlooking the putting green at the Restaurant at Cedar Creek Golf Club and enjoy traditional fare. There are more than 1,000 acres of woodlands in the designated bird and wildlife sanctuary to explore along miles of nature trails. The path winds past fountains and over streams for a relaxing walk. Among other amenities are a 25-meter Jr. Olympic pool, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, and a 2,600 sq. ft. Community Center.
